Candice Johnson is a Lowndes County High School alumni, from Valdosta Georgia. She attended Brewton-Parker College, where she received her Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked in the traditional classroom setting in two separate school districts. 5 years in Vidalia City Schools where she was named Teacher of the Year and 3 years in Bibb County Schools where she was also named Teacher of the Year. She also has 5 years of virtual school experience in Bibb County School District. She has worked with SOAR Academy in the PLC Department focusing on Credit Recovery for at risk students in middle and high school. Her goals in life are to focus on being influential and bringing about change wherever she may go. She considers it a privilege and an honor to mentor students and be apart of a vital chapter in their lives.
