About VIP Academy

VIP Academy began as a program of Bibb County Schools, tasked with providing scholars an opportunity to conduct their learning virtually when attending traditional schools wasn't the right fit. 

It soon became apparent the role VIP Academy needed to assume for the Scholars of Bibb County was far bigger than simply being a program. In 2022 VIP Academy transitioned from being a program to being a stand alone school within the Bibb County School District, with the the rights and privileges of a traditional school. 

The designation of VIP Academy as a school is an important one for you as a scholar and a parent, allowing VIP Academy to offer an exciting educational experience.

Being designated a school allows VIP Academy to offer a fully credentialed diploma issued by the State of Georgia. Being part of Bibb County Schools allows VIP Academy to offer access to local teachers, teaching the Georgia Standards of Excellence, while still allowing students to work in a virtual format. 

VIP Academy offers a full curriculum to students in 6th through 12th grades, and is open to students in the Middle Georgia area (not just Bibb County!). VIP Academy offers numerous opportunities to take CTAE courses, AP courses, and Dual Enrollment courses through Colleges and Universities in the Middle Georgia area. Additionally, VIP Academy is able to meet a wide variety of student supports, including PEC, 504, and ESOL.
